  • We have updated our address processing engine across both U.S. and Canadian datasets. This release resolves several result code edge cases (AC05, AC10, AC11, AC12) to ensure change indicators accurately mirror actual address modifications, while improving street name and directional parsing.

  • United States

    • AC11 (Suffix Changes): Resolved multiple instances where AC11 was erroneously returned even when the input and output suffixes remained unchanged (e.g., maintaining "Avenue").

    • AC12 (Directionals): Ensured AC12 is consistently triggered whenever a pre-directional is added to the result address, and fixed an issue where directional prefixes were dropped from the output without flagging AC12.

    • AC05 (Canonical Names): Fixed a bug where AC05 was returned despite the input address already containing the canonical street name.

    • Street Name vs. Suffix Logic: Refined the selection hierarchy to prioritize street suffix corrections (AC11) over full street name modifications (AC10) when applicable.

  • Canada

    • AC10 False Positives: Fixed an issue where AC10 was triggered even though the parsed street name was not modified.

    • Special Character Formatting: Restored missing dashes in Canadian street names (e.g., hyphenated street names or range formats) to align with standard postal formatting.

    • Rare edge case where suites beginning with "RT" were inadvertently removed during address normalization.
    • Fixed an erroneous mapping logic where Address2 input values were occasionally being output as Urbanization results.
    • Urbanization Parsing Fix: Resolved an issue where "9D" was being incorrectly parsed as an Urbanization element, causing coding failures. "9D" is now properly directed to either the Parsed Suite or Parsed Garbage fields.
    • Alias Address Resolution: Fixed a bug where the alias address KS Highway 264 was failing to verify.

    • Corrected an erroneous casing transformation for street names (e.g., "Macaulay" no longer incorrectly converts to "MacAulay").
